Harri is appearing with
KELVIN CHRISTIANE - Saxes/Flute
Kelvin is a freelance saxophonist, flautist, clarinettist, percussionist and
composer who has been leading his own bands for the past seventeen years and
has released twelve CD's of originals and standards. All of these were
featured on Humphrey Lyttleton's 'Best of Jazz' Radio 2. The latest CD
'Piper at the Pearly Gates' 2006 (with Mark Nightingale on trombone) '.a
band of astonishing virtuosity.' A graduate from the Leeds College of Music
he has played with artists such as Bernard 'Pretty' Purdie, Pucho & the
Latin Soul Bros, Jim Mullen, Janusz Carmello, Gilad Atzmon, Alan Barnes..
Performed at the Montauban Jazz Festival, France 2002 with Russian pianist
Daniel Kramer.
RICHARD BUSIAKIEWICZ - Keyboard
Richard started playing the piano at the age of six, and by his late teens
was performing frequently in top London hotels and restaurants, and starting
to become known on the jazz scene. In the late 80s he was part of the Tommy
Chase band, then led his own quintet, and in 1993 became a regular member of
the Spike Robinson Quartet, all of which involved extensive touring and TV
and radio broadcasts. As well as being in demand to play with British jazz
artists, he has performed with many visiting American musicians including
Scott Hamilton, Warren Vache, Bob Wilber, Art Farmer, Harry Allen, Ken
Peplowski. Since 1994 Richard has been a member of the Ray Gelato Giants,
touring extensively both in this country and abroad.
ANDRE MESSEDER - Double-bass
Andre
joined “Geraldo’s Navy” for various world cruises - including the maiden
voyage of the QE2. He has toured the world entertaining the troops,
performing with artists such as Harry Secombe, Vera Lynn, Frankie Howerd,
Jim Davidson and Frankie Vaughan.
Broadcast work has included appearances on BBC TV’s Pebble Mill at One
show playing with American artists Brook Benton, Nancy Wilson, Kay Star and
Buddy Greco, as well as numerous sessions with the BBC Radio Orchestra.
Andre toured for several years with Roger Whittaker and has also
undertaken extensive tours with Dean Martin, Bruce Forsythe, Shirley Bassey,
Buddy Greco,Vic Damone and the great Jack Jones.
